I want to share my videos. What do I need in order to use Project Streamer?

Currently, the only thing that you'll need is an installation of Camtasia Studio version 3.0 or higher. Versions older than 3.0 do not have the features required to use Project Streamer.

How do I upload a project?

There are now two ways to upload a project. The first is to initiate an upload from inside the Camtasia Studio software. A simple how-to describing this process, including a step-by-step animation, can be found at this location. This is the preferred method.

The newer method allows users to upload files directly from Project Streamer. Simply click the Upload tab at the top of the page, choose the zip file containing your project, and upload the project.

I'm publishing my project through Camtasia Studio, but I can't seem to stay logged in or upload a project. What's going on?

If you are experiencing this behavior, chances are quite good that your browser isn't accepting or returning the cookie that holds the session information that Project Streamer uses to identify you. There are two things that typically cause this problem - personal firewall software or the security settings in your browser.

Some pieces of personal firewall software will block the transfer of cookies between your browser and remote web servers. This action will break the information transfer between your browser and Project Streamer and prevent proper function of the Project Streamer service. One such piece of software that we've noticed issues with is Zone Alarm by Zone Labs. If you are experiencing trouble with Project Streamer while using a software firewall, try adding www.projectstreamer.com to the list of trusted web sites in the personal firewall configuration. If this does not work, try temporarily disabling the firewall for the duration of your upload.

Strict security settings in your browser can also prevent the proper transfer of information between Project Streamer and your browser. Make sure that your browser is able to accept cookies from www.projectstreamer.com if you are having these difficulties.

How can I remove the Project Streamer header bar from my projects?

Customers taking advantage of the 30 day free trial offer cannot remove the Project Streamer header bar. Paid customers can remove the bar on a per-project basis by editing the properties for individual projects.

I've uploaded a project, but Project Streamer has told me that it wasn't able to find the entry point for the project. How do I fix this?

This error means that Project Streamer was unable to determine the entry point for your uploaded project automatically. The entry point can be set manually by editing the project details in the Project Listing page.
